New Island Sushi

A group of us went there for a dinner gathering on a busy Wednesday, but they took so long to take our order. Once the food was ordered, we were left waiting an hour before 1 dish showed up. They said there was only one cook working. For the next dish to come, it took another hour. We were not happy with the poor service. With 10 minutes left before closing, all of our food showed up! They warned us that if we didn’t finish the food, they would charge us extra! Then they said they would call 911 if we wasted any food! Ridiculous! Instead of apologizing for their poor service - they threatened us! We were still paying for our food, but they didn’t understand why we were upset, and instead treated us poorly (8 women). This gathering was a farewell dinner, and the restaurant completely ruined the evening. I strongly suggest for people to not support this restaurant (or they might call 911 on you if you don’t like how long the food takes to get to the table)…

Worst service ever! Slow service, poor quality! The owner of this restaurant has no respect for customers and does not listen to what they say. We ordered food but nothing came out for an hour. When it arrived too late to eat our food, he demanded extra charge, and when we complained about it, he threatened to call 911. Are the Saskatoon police so idle?

Beautiful resteraunt, very clean, everyone was friendly and the food was of course amazing!! Best sushi in town!! I'd give more stars if I could ✨️

This is an absolute fail safe! Always consistently good food with tons of options! Service is always fast, friendly and accommodating. This place does AYCE right!

Our go to sushi restaurant for lunch with friends. All you can eat. Lots of variety...more than just sushi!

A wonderful, all-you-can-eat, experience. The Sushi is quite nice, as are all of the pan-Asian cuisine they offer; I also enjoy their bento boxes. Food can be ordered by their in-house iPad app or you can order individual items off the menu. Service was quick and friendly, and the food came quickly. Vegetarian options: Quite a few Vegetarian options. Avocado, cucumber, yam-tempura, and mango options for Sushi rolls (and various combos of said ingredients), mixed veg tempura, veg udon... every menu category they offer has at least one vegetarian option. So much to choose from!
