New Desi Tadka

Been seeing this place for a long time and decided to give it a try today and I so regret it. While I like the fact that someone could actually think of this idea and concept and execute it in K K Nagar, given its past history of unsuccessful eateries, I was disappointed with the food. The dal, a basic and standard item just tasted bland and was almost tasteless. With a lovely ambience and good service staff, if only they could find good cooks, this place would be a worthy visit.

Ordered for mushroom tikka, rotis and gobi manchurian through swiggy Mushroom Tikka was very raw and was not marinated. Rs 300+ was a waste as quantity too was less with just 4 pieces of mushrooms and it was like eating raw mushrooms. Gobi manchurian was tasting like an ordinary pickle and nothing else and to make it worse, gobi was not even 10% cooked. Plain roti which is ordinary and nothing special though not bad costs Rs 108 per roti. Heavy packing charges, delivery charges, taxes, other fees further add to its average price. At this rate this hotel will not survive unless somebody is running it to convert his/her black into white. From A disappointed foodie.

Peaceful place for having lunch ,u can feel like good privacy

Ambience was excellent. Price is reasonable. Food was great.

very expensive..but taste wise very good...quantity of the starters can be increased...
