Brought some prawn toast which was really good, did pick up with deliveroo and they were trying to make me pay again
Never experienced such rude people. Awful customer service. Food was 45 minutes late, restaurant just screamed down the phone at me when I tried to ask a ETA. Shocking service. I’m not sure how they are still running to be honest.
DO NOT ORDER HERE. THEY ARE SO RUDE AND ABUSED ME OVER THE PHONE. THEY CANCELLED OUR ORDER AND THEY LIED AND SAID THEY WERE PREPARING THE FOOD AND THEN CANCELLED SO UBEREATS WONT REFUND AS THE WERE “preparing the food”. NO RESPECT WHATSOEVER. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Rang to order for collection, midway through placing my order the person on the other end puts the phone down and starts talking to someone else in the background. He then returns to the phone and tells me they to busy to take my order and hangs up! Wow! The rudeness is real! Straight into my deleted basket.
Ordered via uber eats at 5pm, said delivery was supposed to be at 5.30pm. At 5.31pm my ordered got cancelled via uber by the merchant (the Chinese shop). I called the restaurant as uber wouldnt help me as order cancelled and the first person I spoke to was slightly confused but said they accidentally cancelled it, they were supposed to cancel a different order. Suddenly a second person, who I'm assuming is the manager, who proceeded to scream at me down the phone saying that he has a lot of things to do and can't be holding up the phone explaining things to me. They've cancelled my order because im unhappy and I explained that he was making me unhappy because I've been charged and not getting the food. I explained that uber sent me a message that I had been charged but my order was cancelled. Tried explaining this to the manager and he kept interrupting me, shouting at me down the phone. Saying that they've called the driver already to being it back because im unhappy. Very very rude manager, even after placing another order with them and paying over the phone the second time. Food arrived luke warm so it was clearly the first orders food and not a fresh batch. Really upset by how I was spoken to after they made a mistake. Really don't understand why the manager acted the way he did.
As below with many they do not treat their customers with any respect. Even the loyal ones. Cancel orders if they aren’t a high enough value, give unrealistic delivery times and then call you to say it’s going to be much longer, rude on the phone. Our order was cancelled after we asked that it wasn’t. We agreed to the extra time but after we phoned we were told to order somewhere else and they didn’t want our order.
Ordered food, estimated 20-45 minutes. Rang after 20 minutes and said it’d be another hour. I asked for some reimbursement and they declined to serve me, cancelling my order. Been loyal to this place for 3 years. Amazing place
