Actually, it's a nice place. I stopped by to have one drink and check it out. It was about 7 pm and it wasn't too full. I'm not sure how busy it is on weekend nights, tho.
If you're not fond of gay bars, don't go to this place. I'm fine with gay people having their own hangouts, but it needs to be advertised as such. I'm not fond of men snorting coke and trying to sneak a peek at me in the men's room.
Great music and bartenders
This was my wife and my first time here, we came to celebrate a good friends birthday. It was a good place, drink prices are reasonable and mixed drinks are good. Staff was professional and friendly. Some thing I may not have agreed with, but that is none of my business. All in all we most likely be back.
Went there on a Thursday night to provide security for some old ladies who were there to line dance. Definitely not my type of place and not a real Texas bar -- too many damn poofters there, but that is to be expected with the line dancing crowd. The straights tend to be the old ladies and the occasional husband who got drug there. The bar majority of the guys who are actually dancing are pretty obviously gay (especially the line dancing "instructors"). They did have Karbach Hoppadillo on tap, so that plus a set of earplugs made it bearable.
Lovely dance floor. The karaoke room was nice and cozy. Just a lovely vibe there. I went on a Sunday evening and ended up having the whole dance floor to ourselves. Friendly staff too. I'd definitely go there again.
Such a great saloon. They had 5$ shots and free popcorn
