We discovered this cafe accidentally and what a lovely place that we found. The Hojicha (roasted green tea) and okashi (treats) Daifuku were among the very best anywhere. That Tempura Zarusoba noodle was excellent especially on a hot summer day. Service was typically high standards and you are treated as real guests here. If you missed the tea houses/ cafes in Japan, this one is an excellent substitute in London.
Great Japanese food, good music, pleasant atmosphere
We stumbled upon this place just after visiting the Kew Gardens and we still can't believe how good it was. We initially just wanted to grab coffee and a hot chocolate but we ended up getting meals. The udon was the best I ever had, the onigiri were soooo good and the miso soup was super tasty. The owners were a delight, smiling and very welcoming. We came back the next day to get the same udon and it was just as excellent. This hidden gem is just amazing! Kid-friendliness: Oui Wheelchair accessibility: Oui
Lovely coffee and service.
Went here for lunch and then went into Richmond. The food was stunning and perfectly portioned, the staff were really friendly and the whole atmosphere was very warm and welcoming! Would very much recommend.
What a delightful neighbourhood cafe. Everyone in the cafe was a delightful and so happy. It felt wonderful to be there, and you were greeted as if you were lifelong friends. The food was exceptional. We had fresh sushi salmon bowl (1/2 size) and also a bento box. Everything was perfectly seasoned and of a high quality. For drinks as had roasted rice tea and the ceremony tea, which was so cute. The handmade walnut and red bean mochi was well balanced and not too sweet, which we love. Parking: After 12pm it’s free street parking in neighbouring roads on Mon to Fri
Glad to wait here out of the cold. Had a lovely hot chocolate and biscuit (they kindly brought water as well). Friendly service, nice atmosphere with the fairy lights, nice furniture and piano. Very reasonably priced.
Great noodles! And fast service too.
