This place is a Gem!! If you are a local or visiting New Orleans don’t second guess! Delicious food and wonderful Customer Service plus lots of vegan options. Overall experience 100%. I enjoyed the orka stew & Egusi fufu. Not pictured vegetable rolls and meat pies demolished them I’m a local and can’t wait to return . Delivery options a plus!!!

Great Senegalese atmosphere. The best authentic food in New Orleans. I'm so excited to taste Senegalese foods here in the Big Easy Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendly Kid-friendliness: Children love the fish

Ive been looking forward to trying this restaurant for a while as a lover of African food. Although it could have been an off day, everything i got was just ok. The goat was tough as leather which is a no no. Goat must be cooked low and slow to get it tender and this was like jerky. I might try it again because they seemed nice and the flavors weren't bad, but it didn't hit today.

Ndindy does not serve authentic Senegalese food. It taste like someone with no culinary background decided to come to New Orleans and open up a restaurant. My husband is from Côte d'Ivoire and he was not impressed. The fish was cold, dry and unseasoned. The thieboudienne was cold, dry, and tasted like ramen noodles. Upon entering the restaurant I saw a large bottle of bouillon open in the kitchen, so I assume that's what they use to season some of the dishes. It's a shame that it's so difficult to find delicious African food in NOLA. My mama tried Ndindy a few weeks ago and she didn't like her food. I assumed it was an off day and gave them a chance. To the owners, please invest in a real chef who can make authentic Senegalese food! Get rid of the bouillon and use fish and shrimp powder. If you sold this food in Senegal, very few people would buy it because it has no flavor.

This place was phenominal. I don't know if I'm just out of the loop, but I hadn’t heard of this place before. Now, I'm going to be stopping for lunch whenever I'm in the area. It is clear that so much love and thought goes into every item here, from the fufu, piping hot and the perfect vehicle for any of their entrees, to the house made hot sauce, a delightful punch of flavor and heat. And that’s not even hitting on the entrees. My wife and I had the Dibi lamb and Dibi chicken, and the flavor was out of this world. You get your bang for your buck; we got two entrees and 3 side items for less than $50, and we were well satisfied by the time we were done. The customer service was top notch, and we spent some time talking to the owner, a wonderful and kind woman who made sure we were okay and enjoying ourselves multiple times. In a city of incredible eats, this place stands out. It's my first meal out of 2024, and I'm pretty certain I've had the best meal I'm going to have all year. Let this be your sign. Come here. Eat incredible food. Leave happy.

What an absolute gem we just came across!! Ndindy was an amazing experience!! The food was absolutely delicious!! We had the Dibi lamb and Dibi chicken and it was spiced wonderfully, packed full of flavor and so, so tender. Pair that with fufu, plantains, and jolof rice and we had ourselves a spectacular feast. Beyond that, the customer service was outstanding, the owner was so, so nice and came out to speak with us personally. I would recommend Ndindy to EVERYONE I meet, and I absolutely will do so!! Please give this place a try, you will love it!!

The very first time I tried Ndindy Afrikan cuisine, I never stopped coming.‼️the energy was GREAT, The food was IMMACULATE, and I really got a feel as if I was visiting Senegal. The family makes you feel as welcome as they ever could. I personally favor the Ndindy Burger, to me, the best burger in the world
