My family went for lunch after bowling and we enjoyed every bit of our meal Parking: There is a huge car park at the mall Kid-friendliness: They restaurant allowed my kids move around. Had a kids menu and were nice to the kids
1st time in Nandos andit was nice but not sure what all the fuss is about
Mac and cheese was meh but I enjoyed everything else
STAFF HYGIENE IS A SERIOUS ISSUE AT CARDIGAN FIELDS The newly renovated place seemed to have skimped on the staff. Short staffed and what staff they have wish they weren't working for Nandos. Awful attitude and the manager who wore dreadlocks in a bandana black gentleman seems to lack the skills or the etiquette of being a manager. The same manager went to customer's toilet whilst I was in there , took a leak and never bother to wash his hands. I was disgusted but at the time was not aware that he was the manager. I later overheard him arguing with a customer and stating he was the manager. A short while after I saw him handling food out to staff. We had already paid for our food but were disgusted with the service . Hygiene was lacking and another staff member a blond slightly overweight young lady was picking her nose and thought she could not been behind the kitchen counter. We all love eating at Nandos but I question the hygiene of the staff after all Nando's pay peanuts and you know what they they when you pay peanuts you get.......? I advise people to stay away otherwise upset stomachs and dysentery is on the cards for you. you have been all warned. Watch the kitchen staff and you will see for yourselves how hygiene seems to be an alien word to them. I going to give Nando's a break for a while as the black manager has really put me off my food. We left with our food half eaten. Very disappointed in the staff of Nando's.
AWFUL STAFF ....POOR ATTITUDE AND A VERY ARGUMENTATIVE MANAGER. FOOD WAS UNDER COOKED AND SAW STAFF PICK UP A CHICKEN THAT HAD FALLEN ON THE FLOOR AND PICK IT BACK UP AND PUT IT ON THE PLATE.
Ordered my meal to be collected at 11:40. Arrived to collect my order at 11:40. The meal wasn’t ready until 12:07 which is already poor service for items that were meant to be READY at 11:40. I originally was not going to post this review as they gave me complimentary chips and sauces for waiting so long. However, as you can see from the images, the chicken was poorly packed and leaked through the bag onto my car cushions! Very unhappy
Reasonable food choice but portions could be better value for money. Excellent service.
Some of the staff are extremely incompetent. Asked for two straws and was told to go and ask myself at the tills all whilst my food was sat at the table going cold. Asked for a box to take some hummus home and was given a box with holes in the side. However in complete opposite the absolute STAR of the show is Jehlisa! Nothing was too much trouble, she was the only one running the pass and taking food to all the tables, it was very visible that she’s the perfect example of what excellent customer service should look like. Nando’s would do well to make sure they look after Jehlisa and hopefully she’s held in equally a high regard with senior management. 4 stars is reflective of the overall experience. Had it not been for Jehlisa then this review would have been for the lowest score available.
