Nando's Cardiff - St David's

Nandos is such a convenient and nice place. The portions are huge, the price is not expensive, the food comes very quickly, and the staff are extremely friendly and patient. This specific place was quite clean and was like any other Nandos.

Collected an order here after work. Very friendly service and order ready on time. They had forgotten the butter with the pitta (not unusual) and I had to ask for it but they did go and get some and offered cutlery and sauce. Vegetarian options: Options for vegetarians and you can customise them too.

Not one of our best trips to a Nando’s. Due to us both being NHS staff, we needed to order our food separately. Despite the orders being made at the same time, my meal came out 30min before my wife’s. We tried to find out what was happening and was reluctantly ‘helped’ by a member of staff who just said “It’ll be out when it’s ready” and walked off. Another member of staff was a lot more apologetic, polite and helpful when she came along and managed to chase up the food. Both meals were both warm, but not hot. The taste was thankfully redeeming though as it was as tasty as usual - just had to be eaten alone! I’m sure another visit on another day may have been different, but as this is not our usual, local restaurant I can only review what I experienced on the day.
