We stopped in here, ordered food for carry out. Decided to sit at the small bar and have a beer while we waited. It took a WHOLE hour to get our food. A whole hour, to get carry out. We had to ask about our food. They said 10 minutes. Then ask again, 10 minutes. I asked if they had lost our order, they said yes. I said, you should at least tell people what is going on, don’t leave customers just sit here for an hour. Then, after all that time, they got part of the order wrong, which they did correct in a timely fashion. In our hour time, I used the bathroom, and it’s filthy. Roll of toilet paper in the floor. The toilet has POOP all sprayed inside it up to the top rim of the toilet. It’s gross. I will say the food was good. However, due to the atrocious service and unclean bathroom, I would never eat here again.
I picked up a delivery for DoorDash here and it took them half an hour after I got there to bring me my order.
Customer service was amazing and the food was worth dying for I have never been treated so well at a restaurant and it is a overall 10/10 experience
Disappointing Experience at Namaste Restaurant & Bar I recently dined at Namaste Restaurant & Bar, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The customer service was subpar, with a lack of attentiveness and responsiveness. The quality of the food was disappointing, falling short of the expected standards. To add to the frustration, we received the wrong order, further impacting our overall dining experience. If there were an option for zero stars, I would certainly give it. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the dining experience for future customers.
I was genuinely disappointed with the service at Namasta Restaurant and Bar. Not only did I receive the wrong order, but when I approached the waiter about it, she turned away, instructing someone else to attend to my concerns. Moreover, when I asked for a slice of lemon, the staff appeared engrossed in their conversations, seemingly indifferent to customer requests. Despite the imposition of a service fee, the level of service I experienced was minimal, and the quality of the food did not make the visit worthwhile.
Drab but comfortable space. Appetizers were excellent, but service was horrible. The server seemed preoccupied with anything BUT customers. First she inverted our orders in terms of spiciness. Wife ordered no spice, and I ordered medium. Medium here equals Ghost Pepper... was not able to taste anything for a couple of hours after the first two bites of the Lamb Curry, which should not have had any spice. Same for the wife who ordered it, and started to eat it, before she realized how spicy it was. Instead of offering us dessert to put out the fire in our mouths, they brought us the check, while another table was just getting their mixed grill platters brought out. It was the second time we saw the server. If they were the only game in town, we still wouldn't go back! Parking: Parking is on a slope and angle in front. If you decide to go after my review, park in the courtyard of the motel the restaurant is part of.
Some really good Indian food. The location is attached to the Travelodge off of Columbia Avenue. I really enjoyed the Lamb Rogan Josh, which is slow-cooked lamb cooked with onion, tomato and yogurt gravy and accompanied with basmati rice. I got it pretty spicy, but the spice was loaded with flavor. Also, the garlic naan bread is some of the best I ever had. Fresh, mashed garlic is in the bread and it’s topped with cilantro. The edges and bottom have a nice crunch to it, but the body is nice and soft. Top notch !
