Murasaki at The Mall

If you’re going to sit someone in the sun, you should probably go ahead and take their drink order. Waited 20 minutes had two waitresses take people their food and their bills and no one checked on my family to even get our drink order. Left. Wont go back.

Food was good as usual. Server Trisha was absolutely wonderful. However the hostess was not. We wanted to sit outside as the weather was nice. The table was covered in pollen and bird poop as the outdoor seating area has no covers and the hostess handed us the menus and we asked her for a hot rag so we can wipe the table ourselves. She said “sure” and came back to wipe the table down- got the pollen off but didn’t get any of the bird poop.. just kind of smeared it around. We asked when our server got back for a rag to do it ourselves. The hostess comes back and says “my boss told me to do it this way.” She proceeds to wipe it again and my girlfriend said “thankyou so much we’ll be good now.” And the hostess goes “I hope so. Because I’m kind of busy.” We offered not once but twice to clean the table ourselves. The dirty tables are unacceptable if the seating area is considered open. But the attitude from the hostess is absolutely uncalled for… definitely put a bad taste in our mouths. We will be hesitant to return.

I had a disappointing experience at Murasaki today. Despite having recommended the restaurant to several friends and family members, I was disappointed by the dry taste of the volcano roll. The server offered to add sauce, which explained why it was dry. What made matters worse was that the owner did not come to our table to address our concerns. As someone who values good food and excellent customer service, I was left feeling let down and frustrated. I had hoped to treat my family to a nice meal, but instead, I am now reluctant to return to Murasaki in the future.

Tried this for the first time! Wow!! We had steak, shrimp, and chicken hibachi lunch and the food was absolutely delicious! 5 stars! Can't wait to go back again and this time bring more family!

Food was very good, crab salad was delish, cheese angels were the best in town, sushi was also very good. Kids chicken nuggets are VERY similar to McDonald’s. We had the pink lady roll, crazy boy roll & firecracker roll. All were very good. The steak and shrimp hibachi was also very good Service was not so good. Our waitress may have been having an off day. She forgot to put one of our sushi rolls in, forgot the soup that comes with the hibachi… she was also very jittery…

I ordered a Bento box and I found a fly in the salad. Very discusting!

The best selection of any Asian restaurant in the area. They have a combination of classic Japanese fair, Sushi and hibachi. As well as Chinese entrees like sesame and honey chicken and egg rolls. Miso soup is well seasoned and the food overall is solid, given the variety of choices.
