Decent bands, good vibe for a bar
completely empty, closed 3 hours early, horrible bartender
This is definitely a pub. They have lots of entertainment. The locals love it. Its a gathering place, has been for many, many years. The food is ok but the last few times I’ve been they had a few things listed on the menu unavailable.
I read the reviews before going but still went. They had a band playing that night. They were pretty good. As others have said, they add a "cover" to your bill because they are playing. I think this should be stated somewhere as you enter. The staff are pleasant. They would just leave you alone if you were there to watch the band. I ordered a salad. It really was ridiculously small for $16. It was just lettuce, an egg, some cheese and bacon bits. I don't know how they came up with that price. I personally wouldn't go there again. But at least I tried it.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessable thru two entrances
Good food. Excellent service as per usual.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. This place is a little 'dated'. It has a varied menu with great food. I've had at least five meals there in the last five months and all have been tasty. Healthier options than typical pub food are also available. Prices are very reasonable. And kudos to Rick and team for raising so much money for Toys for Tots over the last years. I believe that the total is well over $1 million. For a small community pub, that is quite an accomplishment.
Haven’t been here in years. Great to see service and food standards have stayed high. They still have arcade games as well as live bands three nights. Dietary restrictions: You can pretty much ask them to modify your meal to suit your needs. Parking: Plenty of parking space at front door and side entrance. Kid-friendliness: This place has arcade games away from the bar area.
