New clean look, fresh smell. Food displayed in plastic pans, but some things cooked fresh to order. Nice greeting. Daily specials. The meats looked pretty good, and some of the sides look fair. There were some sides that didn’t look that great so instead of chicken or pork or waiting on catfish, we shared a veggie plate. The mac & cheese and the collards looked good, but my wife can’t eat the meat in the greens and decided not to get Mac today. We got the yams, green beans, cabbage and dressing with gravy and cornbread. Everything was very flavorful. I wish the butter beans looked better or if they had Black Eyed Peas or okra that would’ve been great. The yams were sweet, but good, drink water. The dressing and gravy was great, drink water. The cabbage and green beans were good. Loved the cornbread. I did feel like I had to drink a lot of water which means there was some good seasoning, butter, sugar, etc. The desserts weren’t screaming at me, so I didn’t get one. Online they look expensive but inside they seem a bit cheaper. The variety and appearance of what I was looking for, I almost didn’t order, but because it was my first time I wanted to try the food here. There is enough here for you to put a good meal together.

Food was ok. Everything else was great! This is the only soul food place in this area so I decided to give it a try. Very clean.

I was craving something sweet and decided to look for something for delivery. When scrolling through the list, I discovered this place and decided to give it a try. I love me some peach cobbler, but unfortunately for me, I did not enjoy what I received. I ordered the blackberry peach cobbler with ice cream. I found the peaches were good, but I didn't like the blackberries. I found them to overpower the flavor of the peaches, and when I ate it all on one bite, it wasn't tasty. In addition, I didn't find the deconstructed pie crust pieces in the cup too appetizing. For the money spent and the portion I received, it would have been better not to order it.

Excellent menu served buffet style. Fast food booths but primarily a take home Southern cooking. DELICIOUS. Bring your wallet, but one meatloaf meal serves a family of four at home. Parking: Restaurant is in a quiet spot in large shopping center

This was our first visit. At 2pm the food looked dried up and mostly picked over. We ordered salmon n fried pork chops in order to get something fresh. They were out of salmon. The manager was pleasant and refunded the money. The food was just ok. I gave it a lower rating bc the green beans tasted like they were cooked with a spoiled chicken. My coworker and I were both sick later and that is the one dish we both had that just did not taste right. Not sure either of us are willing to try this again.
