Mr Mackerel

Some friends of mine who I know like good food and dine out an awful lot recommended this place for a quick lunch. I now know why. The mackerel sandwich was delicious. Yes you sit at communal tables, no crockery and diet Pepsi was served in the can but crikey it was a good solo lunch after a bit of shopping.

I grabbed a bite here as I was waiting to board my coach at the bus station next door. I ordered the chicken shish wrap with salad and garlic mayo and a side of grilled halloumi. They were both absolutely amazing (much tastier than expected). The chicken was tender and the salad and wrap were lovely and fresh. The halloumi was absolutely delicious and quite possibly the best halloumi I've ever had. The service was fast and the staff were polite and helpful. I would absolutely visit again when I'm next in the area.

Turkish fish sandwich 土耳其鯖魚三文治！！！好鐘意食。在Leeds Kirkgate Market裏尋到寶，好喜歡在這些market裡面遊蕩和食飯。於Mr Mackerel 接過來的時候大大一份要雙手捧住，以為可以分兩餐吃。低估了自己和三文治叫人垂涎的程度。 據聞源起伊斯坦堡海旁，土耳其麵包夾住熱辣辣鯖魚、新鮮生菜番茄，一系列冷盤蔬菜，少少halapeno和蒜蓉蛋黃醬。咬下了個有太陽凍飲的熱情漁港。魚肉嫩滑而蔬菜爽脆，魚油麵包搭帶乳酪的醬汁（好像是cacik？）一起入口，吃到最後剛好是魚腩，比例剛好的在口腔內溶化（如果母親大人在應該會打架搶著食了，笑）是，把整個都吃完，意猶未盡。 Follow @toiletpaperkiu 一齊 #筷快活佸

Tasty and good quantity grilled seafood for reasonable prices. Perfect place to have a meal while having a rest from the shopping.

Brilliant food. Amazing value. Friendly staff. I even drew a picture last time and we use it in a card game as an awesome location.

Delicious grilled food, fresh salad and a good choice of dressings. Benches and tables to sit and enjoy. Vegetarian options: Falafel, haloumi cheese, fries etc
