This is a casual dinner place, not fancy. Staff was super kind. My friend and I both ordered from the 'large dish' section of the menu. Her meal was indeed large 'po boy sandwhich'. My dish, the fava-oili was four pieces of small ravioli with two carrots and a few beans on it. It looked like an appetizer.
I was looking forward to their fried green tomato sandwich, and it did not disappoint! Had arugula salad on the side. Husband had the Chile Verde and he told me later his was better! (I gave him a bit of mine and now I know why he didn't share...lol)
Best food ever! Lasagna is Amazing!!
We came for brunch and it was fabulous! The food was delicious and the presentation fantastic. The coffee was 11/10.
Amazing customer service, they were kind enough to prepare my food even more heated than usual per my request. Very tasty! Satisfied! Had the huevos rancheros.
Vegetarian options: We tried the onion lentil soup and focaccia. It was excellent. Perfectly balanced flavors. We also had pasta and the burger. It was also perfectly balanced flavors. The service was excellent. I highly recommend.
My wife and I stopped in for lunch today and it was delicious! She had the Chili Verde and I had the Mushroom PoBoy, we shared the coconut greens and a slice of the Almond Crusted Cheese Cake. We each cleaned our plates. Great food and friendly on point service. We both highly recommend this restaurant.
Burger was awesome. Needs warmer lighting. Feels like a loud operating room. But, the service and food was on point.
Quick, friendly service and great food. We were wandering around looking for a fun brunch. Found it. Grits with molasses butter, spudnuts (potato donuts), wedge potatoes, ginger-carrot soup of the day with crispy fluffy focaccia, and especially the delish and huge plate of collard greens. Other tables had great looking more standard brunch items and mains.
Substantial vegetarian fare that is sophisticated in the chef’s innovative combination of vegetables and herbs. We share the green curry and the wedding lasagna. The green curry was my favorite. The roasted garlic caught my attention, the curry added depth, while the different vegetables surprised me with each taste. The lasagna is light and creamy, a solid entree which seems vanilla compared to the flavorful curry. We also enjoyed the Jamichael drink made with hibiscus and other juices. The high top tables were comfortable after sitting all day, and there are standard tables as well. This restaurant offers a fresh perspective on meatless meals!
