This was the most terrible dining experience I ever had, I reserved a table of 6 to celebrate a Birthday, we were all there for the first time and from the start you could see it was a place relying solely on its name. They offer Valet, but they were nowhere to be found, I parked myself and as we walked in, I noticed how underwhelming the entrance was, it was a flights of stairs through what looked like a Tenement under construction, when we get to the top, it was not an intimate setting , it was a big room where they could book and herd as many people as they could fit. The service ( although polite) was terrible, they were inexperienced (including the Bartender) and understaffed. We were there for over 2 hours still waiting on dinner and had to find a server to bring us water and drinks, I actually got up went to the bar to get my table drinks. The Manager FINALLY noticed our disappointment, came by and tried to resolve it, even offered the meal for free, but at that point was so disgusted at the experience we left. I dine out often with Family and Clients and will never go back or recommend Morton’s
Morton's in Hackensack, NJ, is our favorite place to celebrate special occasions! The staff is so welcoming, and the service is supreme. You really feel part of the place after a few visits! I've been going since they opened in the mall at Riverside Square in Hackensack. My favorite is the Cajun Prime Ribeye! Also favorite is their house menu special margaritas that have a little bite to them. Also, great is their Wedge Salad. Everything on it plz! House bread is delicious and warm served with soft salted butter. There is more, like the Souffle Grand Marnier. OMG! Must Have! Can't wait to go back!
