Wonderful food and service! Loved the music too!

Food is amazing. A genuine NY deli. We live in north Raleigh- it's worth the drive. We'll be back

Absolutely phenomenal! My fiancé and I brought her dad here for a little taste of home and we visit at least once a week. Regulars by name and have a usual table. One day the owner happened to be working at our table, we were gonna grab another and he saw us and immediately cleared the table for us. As a Customer Experience professional I can not pay this venue praise enough to communicate how truly amazing this place is. If you’re within an hour or happen to be visiting a must stop! I’ve eaten nearly everything on the menu atleast once, literally… Parking: Plenty of spaces to park and easy to get in and out of. Kid-friendliness: Great family atmosphere, kid friendly menu, and dog friendly as well!!

The food is phenomenal, a little pricey but amazing quality of meat and delicious recipes. The service was sub par on a Sunday lunch. We ordered and server was a little pushy, they seemed like they were taking care of the whole restaurant so I tried to be understanding. Food came to the window and two people in black shirts who worked there stood 5ft away talking and talking, while our server was taking another order. Sat for at least 5 minutes getting cold before we got it delivered by the girl who had just been standing there talking the whole time to begin with. I have been in the service industry for over 15 years and until today I loved Mookie’s but I won’t be coming here much any more unfortunately.

Having heard wonderful things about the Reubens at Mookie, I decided to treat myself for my birthday by trying it out. I really hope I was just there on an off day, because it was actually quite disappointing. I ordered the Pastrami Reuben, and it had so much fat that it was not really edible. The fat wasn’t just on the edge of the meat, but strings of fat all through it. Service was not horrible, but not outstanding. I had to request a refill on my tea, and saw several other diners with empty beverage glasses as well. I would probably not come again based on my experience. Parking: There was no problem finding parking.

Second time I came. It seems they got pricey.

the layout is not in typical deli formation. the outline is a bar and table seating. the service is personable. this is one of the places in the area i found that has a cheesesteak with whiz! portion sizes are huge.
