Montauk Steakhouse

There was a very strange atmosphere from the moment we arrived, the lady greeting us was dismissive and having booked a table months ago it felt like they had just quickly put a table together right at the back on the restaurant (despite it being pretty empty - they also turned a couple away in front of us when again there were plenty of empty tables which just seemed odd). We requested to move which we did so that was fine. It took over 30 minutes for someone to come and take a drinks order, which when it arrived was wrong. We were offered bread to start, which only arrived with our food so we didn’t really need it at that point. The food was disappointing to say the least, no flavour apart from a load of salt chucked on. The menu was also different to the menu showing online and choices were very limited. Overall a very overpriced dinner for a mediocre meal with poor service.

Best steak we have ever had. Service was on point and staff extremely friendly which is more than I can say about some of the staff in other restaurants. Best steak ever. Well done ❤️

BnB guests avoid. Nice atmosphere and ambience, service was pretenious. Seems to be to try and make up for the overpriced food. Asked for tap water advised they do bottled water only, its illegal in tenerife not to offer tap water in a restaurant. Got the bread was yummy with white loaf and walnut bread, however the microscopic serving of butter was laughable 3 dollops the size of a 20¢, garlic was nice, butter was butter, and the redwine butter had colour but limited flavour. A little amouse bouche was offered of tomato and mozzarella with pesto. The €32 wagyu burger came with nice salted chucky chips, was okay as a burger but underwelming for the price, immediatly forgettable. I had asked for medium but it appears they mixed up mine and the kids burger. Ordered the charcoal grilled chicken with potatoes and rosemary. Recieved a mini roast chicken, no charcoal smoke flavour, on a bed of the same chips that came with the burgers. When i challenged the lack of rosemary & potatoes i was told "its chips" i explained there is no observable hint or flavour of rosemary. After a back and forth to the kitchen, the waiter returned with an attitude, some rosemary oil and some sprigs of rosemary, they'd clear forgot, which did improve the meal. Although when i read charcoal chargrilled chicken i think butterfly with a nice grill sear not a mini roasted chicken. As mentioned previously the kids burger was ordered well done but arrived medium. The waiter avoided us for the rest of the meal. It was nice enough but the prices are a extortionate for what your getting, i'd be complaining if it wasn't subsidised by the hotel.

Great meal for wife's birthday. Staff were fantastic from beginning to end. Including a suprise birthday chorus and cake 😁👍 much appreciated 👏 Steaks where perfectly cooked and sides along with steaks to die for.

Restaurante Mentauk Los mejores, genial el servicio

The Montauk is an excellent dining experience. The steak selection and wine menu are outstanding. This is our second visit… we will be back!!! Our waiter Ivan was super attentive too.

I visited Montauk Steakhouse while staying at the Hard Rock. The restaurant was rather empty, but no complaints. The server had good recommendations and the food was to my liking. The appetizers were tasty and my steak was cooked beautifully. However, due to the hefty price tag (€100+), I enjoyed my experience as a one-time occurrence.
