Seafood tacos are amazing! My go to in YVR! Sadly Monk's have been replaced by garbage. Bring back Monk's!

Been here a few times, but this last time lady came by and because I hadn’t picked up the menu within the first 30 seconds and knew what I wanted immediately, she never came back. Another staff member eventually came, no offer for a glass of water, Caesar was just flavoured vodka basically in a glass half the recommended size, assuming to save on juice. Disgusting to say the least as I prefer not tasting the alcohol, but the shame was they don’t offer drink prices except for alcohol upfront or an even a list of what is offered. Mac and Cheese, I tried this time was bland, basically tasted like flour and noodles. Honestly the Mother Daughter team members were fantastic last time I was here. I fly monthly and never will return to this location as it’s not worth more than $15 for what cost $50. Kid-friendliness: They don’t advise any pricing for anything other than alcoholic drinks. Maybe it’s time they realize not everyone is an alcoholic or adult looking to pound back a few.

This place is now ‘whistler tap house’. A can of beer is $13. Wow

Hostess was rather abrupt. Friday evening at 5pm, and restaurant was out of nearly half the items on the menu. Food and service was fairly good. Overall, rather disappointing.

What a retreat from times past. Ripped wobbly seats, dollar store paper plates and plastic cutlery, dried rubbery frozen fries. Server even told me to avoid the fish and chips, said menu is a lie...its boxed not fresh. Stars are for the server, otherwise would be zero stars. Burger was so-so at best. Won't be back. Update Jan 2024. Now called Whistler tap and grill, decided to give it another chance. Despite being less than half full, the two hostesses told us they are "crazy busy, two tables just left because we couldn't get to them quickly enough". So we left. Doesn't look promising with the new branding.

Food was awful, panini sandwich made with frozen eggs, which were still frozen and went back to kitchen. Meanwhile another guests had eggs over easy??!! Why frozen eggs? Bacon and sausage were also terrible. If it wasn't for such a lovely server, Karam, it would have been a terrible experience. If you can't serve a warm egg sandwich, who knows how they handle steak!??!! Would not recommend at all!
