Was looking for a place with good ramen, and we found it! Nice little place with a fun vibe to it. I really enjoyed my tonkotsu ramen. The broth was very flavorful, egg cooked perfectly, and the saltiness of the pork was awesome. Of course it never hurts to add a Lil bit of chili pepper, which they happily provided for us. Can't wait to go back and try the chicken wings!
Delicious! We went before a concert and food was great and the server was wonderful with helping out with what to get. Definitely keeping this on my list whenever I make it down to Milwaukee!
I don't remember all of the dishes that we tried but we LOVED them all! My main dish was the clay pot with tofu and it did not disappoint. Space was a little bit small and tight, maybe because it was packed but also the tables were small and close to each other. Service was good, not memorable. Overall, really good food!
Delicious efficient and great service. Amatuer tip let the soup dumplings cool enough and just pop the whole thing in you mouth.
A Din Tai Fung wannabe, but failed horribly, also extremely overpriced. Either the high-end positioning was too important or the owner doesn't know how to control costs. Way too many servers/bus persons for such a small dining area that it’s starting to affect the overall ambience. Tried Xiaolongbao : good quality for MKE; beef noodle soup: subpar, not the right cut of beef, should've used finger meat and tendon, soup was ok; Taiwanese braised pork rice: need to remove the "Taiwanese", not authentic at all, also $22, hello?); and Mala Clay Pot: worst decision ever, an absolute hard pass, the veggies were mostly carrots, and the seasoning was odd at best. Overall, this is a place to rip off upper middle class people who think they're cultured, few to no Asian diners is the best proof.
Delicious soup dumplings!
Never had a bad meal here.
