Only did carry out so didn’t try it but looked nice
It is take out only, so there is not “atmosphere.” I just ordered the spicy maki combo, which is supposed to include a spicy, tuna, roll, a spicy salmon crunch roll, and a Spicy blue crab roll. It is the worst sushi I’ve had in a long time. I can’t even see actual pieces of fish in the rolls, it looks like they ground up some type of a paste. I don’t know what supposed to be crunchy about the spicy salmon crunch roll. And the blue crab roll is horrible. I don’t know if their hibachi is good, so I can’t speak to that. Perhaps it’s shame on me for trying to order Japanese food in Chinatown. It won’t happen again at least not from this place.
Super disappointed with delivery. With additional fees. Was directed to use Uber and upon looking at the fees and service charges the cost of two Sushi dinners became that of three. Taxes and tips were then calculated on top of all this. So unfortunately we had to pass.
The miso soup is great, I liked the Alaska roll fine. It was a bit loosely rolled but delicious. The spicy Maki combo was not good. The tuna, salmon (and crab) were all minced to mix in spicy sauce, and it tastes a little like Buffalo sauce? Not at all what I was expecting. Made do by removing half the filling and adding condiments Dietary restrictions: The knives are not cleaned between cutting rolls, ask for a clean knife if you have an allergy
This restaurant currently only has takeaway or order. Waiting outside for your takeaway is a bit odd experience but don’t let it put you off. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. I had teriyaki. I hope for this place that they can open completely again.
