Better than any place in a 5 mile radius!
The Tampiqueña dish is a must try ! They’re a small family owned business, the picture speaks for it self, highly recommend.
My favorite spot to eat in Villa Park and neighboring towns. I drive by 4 other Mexican restaurants to eat here.
One of the best Mexican places in Villa Park, if not in the whole area. It is definitely worth a visit. (Pay with cash - it's cheaper!). Get a birria taco. And a shrimp taco. And a tamale. Be prepared to smell like a taco if you dine in as this restaurant needs some better ventilation.
The food was very good. We will be back
Pedi una flautas de pollo...el pollo debe de ir desmenuzado...todo entero me lo dieron...ni se diga del arroz y frijoles...mal sabor....
Once arrived police were outside. Once I left a guy In a black hood tried to pop out on side and possibly try to rob or car jack us. We spotted him first he got scared but was contemplating on coming up to our vehicle several times. I made it known I was watching him too and immediately got out of there. I watched him stalk people inside so I pray nothing happened that night to no one inside. Well about restruant I first got there the waitress seemed real mad. I just kept being nice and saying thank you for everything. Hoping to break her attitude. It actually did somewhat. Maybe she was overwhelmed with grubhub orders cause no one was inside at first. We ordered the sopes. The bread was overcooked and hard. The pastor was good. Steak had alot of chewy parts. Not too bad wished it had more sour cream and cheese. When they serve the nachos they don't fill up container. It had like 7 nachos in it at first. Had to ask for a second helping. Price is fair.
Nice place to get good Mexican food.
