Best cajun food in the area. Jambalaya was amazing and the alligator bites were on point! Everyone in my party loved their dish. Definitely will be coming back next time we are in the area.

A gem hidden in Plainfield. Parking: You may not find a spot on Lockport St but perhaps one of the side streets.

I waited 20 minutes for an incomplete curbside order. I had ordered take-out for 5:30pm. I called when I was outside and was asked to come in for the pickup because they were too busy. Finally found a parking and went inside to be told they are behind and looking at 15 more minutes. At 5:50pm the Manager comes out with my order and then decides to tell me that there are no sides with online orders yet we had selected them on the menu/order. I would have to wait and pay if I want sides. They are still working out the "kinks" with the website. I explained that I had to come in, wait, and then not get the full order. His explanation was that they are so busy and he will let the owner know.

I was really excited to eat here being from the south, the food was flavorful and tasty BUT for the price they really are ripping you off in my very honest opinion. I understand the cost of food and pricing I was a professional chef for over 10 years, that said I had the fried green tomato BLT and was very disappointed. The tomatoes were cut so thin they were barely noticeable and the bacon being copped barely there too the Sandwich was basically mostly all bread and about 18$. I was shocked and to be fair I was irritated at how skimpy our sandwiches were. The cornbread is delicious, the red beans and rice I had for my side was amazing, but the sandwich wasn’t worth it. I don’t think I would visit again but if I did I wouldn’t get a sandwich. The service is wonderful and the staff are hardworking and kind. The atmosphere is fun and loud just like it should be. I would have given the food a 5 if the sandwich hadn’t been so disappointing, it had the potential to be great but it’s not substantial enough. This is an easy fix though and they should work on it. Customers know when you are cutting corners, just don’t do this.

The best place my wife and I been to in a long time.... food was amazing... atmosphere out of this state.... I had RED BEANS AND RICE WITH SHRIMP. we both had a cup of Joe's gumbo.... Everything was awesome.
