Great food and great service!

I wanted to love it, especially with the prices. My wedge salad was DRIPPING in ranch to the point I couldn’t even eat it. My baked potato was small, dried out, a little burned. It was only lukewarm so putting butter on it wasn’t an option. My NY strip was flavorless and burned on the edges, so the only flavor I got was the burned flavor. My son’s egg rolls were burned to a crisp and although his sandwich looked good he said it was flavorless as well. The fries were good and the waitress was really nice :)

Very much where the locals go kinda place - nothing fancy but also very unpretentious. A little pricey - but very good steaks - would skip the ribs if looking for a BBQ experience - more a braised / slow cooker experience - staff is wonderful - and attentive.

One of my top five restaurants and all of Traverse City. And they're open late.... Update December 2023. Prices went up a little bit but you can still get a wedge and a petite steak for $20. And it is fantastic
