Mix Karaoke Bar Leeds

Wasn't even allowed in as the bouncer quoted there's too many men if this was the other way round been uproar this shunt be the way to determine if you can come in.

I think this may be the WORST bar in Leeds. Me and my 3 friends came here for my friends birthday, we put our songs in immediately and waited, it was pretty dead but we figured we would still have a wait. After an hour we decided to call it quits when finally one of our names got called … only it was the LAST person in our group to have put their song in to have been called. We figured because we all put our songs in one after the other they may have just been mixed up, but after my friend finished his song NOBODY else in my group was called. We waited for another two songs, until someone who got there 45min AFTER us was called up. We left and my friend whose birthday it was didn’t even get to sing. Waste of time and money. There’s not enough booze in the world to make this bar an enjoyable experience. The crowd is full of half drunk zombies lurking at the back waiting for their name to be called, the DJ has little to no energy and simply put, looks like he doesn’t want to be there (which is fair because I can’t imagine why anyone would want to come to this place.) All this to say, if you want to have a good night out… DON’T come to Mix.

Arrived just before 11pm and stayed for two hours. First hour was bearable and had one of our song requests “granted”, however the other requests we put in were ignored or lost, including the request put in at 23:00. After two hours of listening to the same four people sing over and over and our requests being ignored, we left disheartened. There comes a point where your patience runs thin, even for karaoke. Bar staff were nice and kept cleanliness up to a high standard throughout the night. Drink quality and selection was good and glasses were clean. Bouncers were polite and professional Additionally, the music was way too loud, almost to a dangerous level, our ears were left ringing for a duration after leaving (even with myself wearing earplugs)

Horrendous. Hot, sweaty, over priced and rammed. Will not return.

Genuinely the rudest staff I’ve ever come across. The DJ in particular was the most unpleasant service provider I’ve ever encountered, and the bar staff were a close second.
