This place has some REALLY awesome food. I had the brisket and all I can say is "WOW!" I can't wait to get back to Madison and get some more. I fully recommend the food here. We took the food to go but the people working there seemed very pleasant and hard working. I can also recommend the cheesy potato side dish. Almost as good as my wife's cheesy potatoes.

My husband and I went here for the first time on our way to an event. Jorge was at the register, and when we mentioned we hadn't been there before, he came around the counter and pointed at and explained the menu to us. He offered to let us sample any of the meats, he said he wanted us to really like what we ordered. We ended up getting brisket and smoked chicken with sides, and everything was excellent. Jorge came and checked on us while we were eating, and came back later to bring us to-go containers. He was excellent, especially considering this wouldn't normally be a tipping environment (we did anyway). It was clear that Jorge loves his job and is amazing with customers. Great experience, we'd definitely return.
