Miss Toya's Southern Kitchen

When I say RUN...I mean get there immediately!!! The food she drinks were AMAZING!!! Food comes out fresh and hot so give them some time. The LAMB CHOPS WERE COOKED CORRECTLY!!! I like mine medium and the sauce was great, I asked for sauce on the side. I went 2 days in a row because the food and service was great. My male bar tender/server named Che-Kay ( sorry if I messed up his name) was very professional. He made some great drinks.

I’ve come to this location twice and both times they closed early, the website advertised 9pm however the were cleaning at 830pm. I thought the kitchen is to stay open until closing? I don’t think I’ll return to this location.

Friendly staff was seated fast, food came out fresh & hot it was very tasty & was given a piece of cheese cake as a birthday gift .

Atmosphere was nice and the staff was welcoming but being from Alabama I was a little underwhelmed with some of the menu items. The Louisiana pasta was good, great portion size but the blackened chicken was a bit overcooked. The catfish basket was so so. Fries seasoned well but the catfish wasn't cooked thoroughly. When I order fried catfish I expect it to be crispy, it also wasn't seasoned very well. The frozen margarita flight was good. Overall I don't think my meal was worth the money but I wanted to support local business.
