Milkweed

Cute coffee shop in Minneapolis off Lake Street. Great ambiance. Friendly staff. Clean. Small in size but large in character. Enjoyed hot tea and a slice of lemon cake

I found this place on Google Maps and decided to try it. Milkweed was full of people and had many customers coming through to get coffee for take out. Despite this, it had a laid back vibe. There are tables in front and more comfy chairs in the back. They have an assortment of THC cocktails on the wall and sell gummies on the counter. I didn't have a place to plug in, but I was still able to work on my laptop for a little while to enjoy the experience. I had a specialty drink, which was good and a cold brew which hit the spot. Overall I enjoyed my experience.

The Mississippi Queen latte, complete with candied ginger on a skewer, was hands down one of the best lattes I have ever had in any cafe in the country (also the most expensive). Great job!

good vibes, bad coffee. come here for the sunlight and green decor, but unfortunately they just can't get a handle of a good iced vanilla latte
