Mikuni offers a delightful culinary experience with a diverse menu showcasing expertly crafted sushi and flavorful Japanese dishes. The vibrant atmosphere and attentive service complement the restaurant's commitment to delivering a memorable dining affair.
Everything was great (food, atmosphere) with the exception of the service, which was horrible. Our waitress was too busy chatting with other employees and not paying attention to her paying patrons. We watched our food sit on the counter for over 35 minutes (we sat within view of where they were making our sushi) when she finally pulled herself away from the other waitresses/waiters to finally bring it to our table.
Solid sushi. Lots of options and the nigiri was too notch. Sat at a table and wish I would have sat at the sushi bar instead.
Fun vibe, friendly staff, great food and cocktails. The freaky asparagus and edamame were great starters. The sunomuno (cucumbers) were less vinegary than we're used to but still tasty. The portions are generous! Lots of seating so even at dinnertime it wasn't too bad getting a table. Vegetarian options: I often struggle at sushi restaurants since I don't eat fish, but they had some creative vegetarian options here!
This place is an absolute treat! We picked it because it has the best reviews we could find for sushi while we were visiting town, and it definitely lived up to the standard. The pre fix dinner for two is a great deal.
Took a hour to get a kid's bento box
