Michael & Marion's and The Side Door

I recently moved to Barrie, and heard about this restaurant. Sadly, the food did not Meet up to the reviews. Fresh oysters came out on a warm plate, no ice. Appetizers of shrimp and spring rolls were overcooked. 6 ounce steak was not tender, difficult to cut an impossible to chew.

By far our favorite restaurant in Barrie! The atmosphere and vibe is always perfect for any occasion from date night, girls night, casual night watching live music or a celebration. Try the calamari, it’s a classic staple on the menu. The Burrata so delish that I don’t like to share. The service is always on point and welcoming.

We just had my birthday dinner there on Feb 24th. The food was delicious. Jamal and Kate were awesome. Great time was had by all.

My boyfriend and I were genuinely so impressed that this was our first time coming to Michael and Marions! Small cozy vibes with such a great atmosphere. Our servers, Ryan and Taylor were both so attentive, making sure dietary restrictions were taken care and giving us such great service. The drinks and food were great too, absolutely no complaints! We will 100% be coming back, the best restaurant we’ve been to in a LONG time

Absolutely love going to Michael & Marion's for special occasion with my husband. It is a quaint restaurant, with absolutely delicious food & a great ambience. If you are looking for a great restaurant, year round, to bring your significant other, I highly recommend.

It was our first time here and although the food and atmosphere were fantastic, our service with Ryan was top notch. He was attentive, polite and a lot of fun! Thank you Ryan!

My fiance and I had an AWESOME time at Michael & Marion's. We had Ryan as our service who was prompt, and so delightful to interact with. The food was perfect and delicious. We will certainly be coming back!
