About Us Welcome to Mi Nueva Tierra, located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood at 2417 N. Clybourn Ave. Although we just recently opened our doors in February 2020, the vision for our restaurant started back in the 1980s with Chef Lou’s journey as the son of a restaurateur learning about day to day operations from his father and how to prepare delicious, authentic Mexican favorites from his mother. Now, as the proud owner of his own restaurant, Chef Lou has served in just about every role imaginable, and from those experiences he has learned what it takes to create an enjoyable dining experience. Together, we will do our best to consistently provide great food, delicious drinks, and courteous service with a smile anytime.
