Food: 4/5 (Lovely bite and spice!) Service: 5/5 (Kind and caring staff) Atmosphere: 4/5 (huge cultural atmosphere) Mexican Village Restaurant was a highlight of my visit in Michigan. Located in Detroit, Michigan, the restaurant makes some delicious memories. I enjoyed every bite. The food was good! I love the simple, yet delicious meals. I appreciate having free chips and salsa with the meal. There was a spicy and mild salsa, and they both were flavorful. I enjoyed a fried burrito with the fixings. Lovely meal! The service was phenomenal! I love how kind the staff is and how they keep the water cup full. I appreciate the patience with the menu and appreciate the hospitality. Great staff and service! The atmosphere was great! I love the cultural photos and feel of the restaurant. There was English and Spanish speaking staff. The hispanic vibe was awesome! Lovely experience at The Mexican Village Restaurant. Vegetarian options: There is plenty of vegetarian options. Parking: There were so many parking spaces to choose from. Very large parking lot! Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly! Wheelchair accessibility: Nice size restaurant for wheelchair accessibility.

Food was excellent drinks superb. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheel chair accessible.

Always the best. Servers are super quick.

Stopped in for a bite to eat after spending time Downtown. There were 3 of us. We were only allowed 2 tiny bowls of chips or we would be charged. Asked for more salsa and got an eye roll for that.( We all like to put more salsa on our food.) The waitress was not attentive or friendly. Came here based on someone that said we will "Love it", well hate to say it but I won't rely on that person's referral anymore. Come on Mexican Village 2 tiny bowls of chips for 3 people! Get better staff that want to be at work not giving poor customer service.

Salsa was canned tomatoes, the only flavor it had was pureed tomato blandness. Chips were not even good enough to eat without by themselves. Rice was not good, refried beans were not good. Mexican Pizza had raw tomatoes, raw onions and raw green peppers layered on top. The food came out fast, but it wasn't even hot. The place wasn't too expensive, and the service was decent.
