Metro Diner

We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. We had a small party so it was only a 10 minute wait for seating. The service was friendly. The food was good, but did take a long time for it to come to the table. It's an open kitchen so you can see the food orders being prepared. It seemed like they were going strong and then suddenly hit a bottleneck. The chicken and waffles were delicious.

Parking can be a nightmare on the weekends. The wait was 30 min on the weekend at 11 am. My biggest complaint is the overwhelming amount of delivery drivers crowding the front door. We had a baby stroller and had to wait outside for our table in the misty rain because there were delivery drivers stacked 10-15 deep in front of the door and in front of the waiting area. Food is fantastic and service is awesome. Portions are good sized too so you don't end up with a bunch of leftovers. Parking: Go around the back and park back there to avoid the delivery drivers Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but keep in mind all of the people crowding the door to get to the waiting area and then to your table.

Davita (our server) was very knowledgeable and personable. She has a wonderful energy. She was helpful for newcomers. We bonded over menu items!

I have to give their management 5 stars, particularly Natalie for really making my experience a good one. On Saturday the inside and online service was backed up. I placed an online order, showed up when I was supposed to pick up and the order wasn't ready. I was on a short break from my job and had to get back but the food wasn't ready. I talked to Natalie and she understood and her patience and kindness really helped the situation. I really appreciate her and will return on her professionalism alone. Great Job

Our server Davita was outstanding. She was on point with everything. We didn’t have to ask for anything.
