MESON BARCELONETA

Overall, this spot is alright and checks the boxes, but it isn't spectacular. I thought the paellas here were alright, but would have enjoyed it if they were a tad more authentic with the burnt rice at the bottom of the skillet. This spot is close to the water and is in a prime location. In general, it's a decent spot for lunch, but there are definitely more memorable options.

Great restaurant, excellent service, esquisite dishes. The athmosphere is unique, Lorenzo is simply the best waiter ever. We ordered too many dishes, and he offered us the finest choices from them. He is funny and a good dancer to entertain the guests. If I could give 7 stars, I would.

The chicken and chorizo paella was fantastic. Friendly wait staff. Tapas were delicious. Wonderful experience all around.

Best meal in my whole trip to Barcelona!! I also have a severe gluten allergy and the staff was absolutely amazing. It’s a family owned restaurant that makes you feel like family when you arrive. Food is amazing and service is great! If you want amazing paella and an amazing dinner, go here!!!
