Meritage At Callaway

The atmosphere was relaxing. The food was delicious and so was the fine. Staff were all very polite.

Best service ever!!! We brought our dog to the Meritage restaurant and he was super spoiled by our waitress called Jamie. She is so loving and we are definitely coming back for another experience here. It was a Sunday and even with the restaurant busy, we had the standard service! Food was awesome, it came very fast! 5 starts for everything.

Had a very nice time for our anniversary. Tasted some great wine!

We didn’t find any interesting vegetarian options we ordered only appetizers and immediately the server wasn’t happy that we aren’t ordering more and wanted us to leave. Most disappointing service ever.

This restaurant used to be decent a few years ago. However the last few times I've been here, the food has not been good, service slow, menu uninspired/limited, and prices high for the lack of quality. They will rarely seat you without a reservation, even if they are not busy. I recommend eating in Old Town Temecula and skipping the winery restaurants altogether, as I feel most of them are overpriced and underwhelming.

The service was surpreme!! The waiter was pretty funny and explained the menu very well! Love the food especially the ribs!

I had my sons rehearsal dinner there, June 23 2023. What a great job that your servers did what professionals, including the chef are.The food was fantastic. They told me that the chef had some new items that he was just starting to. try out, the pesto/macaroni , calamari, mixed vegetables, all wonderful, and the chicken breasts were also terrific. I can’t forget the sunset views phenomenal Thank you very much! Randy Parking: I didn’t check out any of the food items because the ones I had were new and not on this list. I’m sure everything they serve will be excellent. You won’t be disappointed.

Restaurant is humid and hot. No greeting or host/hostess. Views are blocked by blinds. No reservations equal no service here. Arrived at the restaurant and it was very empty and was still refused service. Staff was neither busy or at capacity. Disappointing. Beautiful property, but a shame the service was nonexistent. Will not return or recommend.

Pleasantly surprised! Made reservations around sunset and it was worth it!! Food was cooked well and presentation was on point. Money worth spent and wasn't too crazy expensive. Service was excellent and attentive in the right way. It wasn't crowded so probably why it everything was on point. The Lamb Shank was buttery and fall-off-the-bone good. Duck was well-cooked and not over done. Dessert was a great way to end too. Not overly sweet and good composition. Hope it's like this the next time we visit!

Hardly fine dining. Just over priced because of the winery. Food was bland, service was subpar. Scenery was nice, but much better choices around Temecula than this place. Save your money!
