Great place and good food!

Food & drinks: McMenamins @ Elks Temple saved the day for our Tacoma Family visit lunch. They welcomes kids. Imagine that. The 1st two restaurants we went to in downtown Tacoma were adults only. We all enjoyed ourselves. Typical McMenamins upscale pub food was what we expected and did not disappoint. Service was laidback but attentive. As always, the quirky ambiance and art and historical photos filled in the backstory of life before McMenamins owned the Elks Temple building. In Tacoma visit the Temple

Parking is terrible. I walked through the place several bars yet we had to wait an hour in a half to get a large table. The place was empty. I was so frustrated after an hour I left
