This place is adorable. It’s quiet and empty if you want a good place to study or get work done (which is what I was looking for). Their white mocha was SO good and the music feels like they stole my entire “chill vibes” playlist. Overall chill place with really good coffee. Part of me wants to recommend it but the other part wants to selfishly keep it to myself…
Good coffee, this coffee shop is a Langley favorite for obvious reasons. Haven't tried the food yet
Worst coffee I've ever had.Use to be the place to hang but since its been changed and new ownership its not really a coffee house anymore.
I was looking for a coffee shop that isn’t a Starbucks or Tim’s and i happened to find McBurney’s. I love supporting local shops and seeing what they have to offer. I ordered a White mocha with extra espresso shots, a banana bread and sausage roll. The coffee was great, served in an actual coffee mug, my banana bread and sausage roll was served on a nice plate, both tasted great and fresh (just a heads up it’s not table service). The service was great and helpful. They made sure my food and drink was made correctly and their service was swift. No complaints there. Most reviews spoke about bad coffee, I disagree with those reviews. Before i left i had a really tasty strawberry smoothie which wasn’t sugary nor watered down. Would definitely recommend.
Overpriced. Went twice and never went back even though we walk past it everyday. Not worth it at all. An americano was $5 more than anywhere else I go to nearby. It’s nice inside but why overcharge people? It’s always empty inside looks like people aren’t going to pay high prices anymore should lower prices to reasonable prices to prevent going out of business.
It's a cool place, nice interior, nice atmosphere, but that's just it. I don't personally like the coffee here, it's rather expensive. The americano we ordered was way too weak, lots of water with very little of expresso. The premium matcha was very expensive, $7 and more? I asked for no sugar. Usually, it is supposed to have a very strong, almost bitter taste from the matcha powder, but this one had none, literally just ... green tea with watery milk. Not recommended for coffee, but not a bad choice to go and take a picture or for people who don't drink strong coffees.
Awesome experience, super welcoming and had a great atmosphere. Great costumer service, and had a very unique feel to the coffee shop. I’m so glad I tried this place out ! Definitely coming back with my friends highly recommended. They have delicious sweets and treats along with coffees!
Lavender Latte was phenomenal
