Maycheelin fresh fruit and classic bubble tea 美麒麟茶记

Had the matcha red bean bubble tea 700ml and it was very good! Best bubble tea I had during my visit in Edinburgh!

I ordered the traditional milk tea and was quite disappointed. The tea seemed to be brewed for too long because it had a strong bitter aftertaste. The black pearls were also overcooked, so they weren’t chewy. The cup looks cute and aesthetic to the eye but easily leaked when tilted. However, the staff was friendly, getting my order was quick, and I was able to get 10% off when paying in cash.

Delicious Thai milk tea and a huge portion size. Staff was lovely and friendly, and the price isn't too bad considering the location Dietary restrictions: Offers soy milk

We came here at 15:25 but it was closed (supposed to be open until 16:00). There was a Maycheelin shop up the street that served a limited choice of bubble tea prepared in the morning. It was good but only a few options available.

I waited 20 minutes for bubble tea even though there were only 2 other people in the shop...that ordered drink each before I even walked inside. If you're in hurry - this is not a place for you. The girl working there was super rude to me. They literally have a basket of wet tissues next to big container with some kind of a soap and when I took ONE tissue from the OPEN box she snapped on me that I have to pay!!! Its ridiculous, I said to her that it was open and just now I saw a sticker with the price in the same colour as the box. And explained that it was literally open, and majority of places have disinfection area since you know... COVID. I said sorry and that honestly I thought it was for using since it was open.. and she said "well maybe someone else used it. But I am telling you that you should pay for it, for the box" and I said "yeah, well, I took one and okay, I will pay " and then she said I dont have to... Made me feel like if stole a fricking tissue. I do not recommend. The bubble tea itself was okay, but not for a 6£. Way too expensive.
