Maude's Alabama BBQ is must eat at restaurant in the Flint metro! The wait in driving time to get to Maude's is worth it! The wait for your order is worth it! The BBQ reflects the flavors and recipes of Alabama. The offerings are what you expect and hope to find at a good BBQ joint! The BBQ sauce is flavorful and barely tips toward the sweet sweet side of scale. It is delightful on the pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and ribs. The portions are filling. The side dishes are varied and tasty! My favorite sides are the baked beans and fried okra! They sell their own seasoning mixes for chicken and pork. They have homemade desserts. They have their "Alabama White Sauce" for purchase. The restaurant is clean and brightly lit with several large windows. Note: they do not have a public restroom. The staff are efficient, friendly, and helpful! We live the staff. Maude's is located on Davison Rd. just east of Dort Highway. They have a location in Lapeer, which has been opened going on 2 years. I will be going back many times!
