The only South Indian about this restaurant is the name Mattancherry.I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone from Kerala. Food is awful I’m afraid! Such a disappointing experience
Amazing food, very helpful staff, great music. Will be back soon
What a beauty of a place! Food was so delicious, reasonable price and great choice on menu! We were celebrating my parents ruby wedding anniversary and they got a cake for us! Beautiful special touches that made our experience even better. We also had 5 children with us and they were so accommodating to them. Made what could've been a stressful time a lot more relaxed. 100% take a visit.
This restaurant is a real gem. I've eaten here twice, both times for lunch and both times I've been impressed with the cuisine.. however, that's not why I decided to post this. The gentlemen at the front is an absolute legend.. warm and friendly, his smile lights up the room.
Top quality food: excellent flavours and a lovely atmosphere. Ram was a very attentive and charming host.
Mattancherry Restaurant is a gem for seafood lovers, vegetarians, and non-vegetarians alike. Their Seafood Thali and Non-Veg Thali offer a delightful variety of flavors in one plate, from tasty salmon and prawn to succulent lamb and chicken. The charming garden space provides a perfect setting for gatherings, while Mr. Ram's friendly manner and helpful suggestions add to the inviting atmosphere. Don't miss out on their delicious dosas, curries like Nadan Chicken Curry and Railway Lamb Curry, and the crowd-favorite Chicken Tikka. It's a dining experience that never disappoints.
We were finishing up a trip in south wales and wanted warm Indian food to finish off the trip with, we found this restaurant and made advance booking for 8 of us, coming to the review of the food- it is super delicious , extremely tasty authentic Indian food. Anyone who wants to try the real taste of Indian food should definitely try this place.
