Sushi was good. But avoid steak at all costs. I love my steak but the steak here was so raw. I felt sick and put off steak. Every time I smell red meat I feel sick and I haven’t ate anything for 2 days after my experience here.

I am a big fan of sushi and Matsuba does not disappoint! Incredible sushi and very fresh. The staff are very helpful and the whole atmosphere makes for a very nice evening. Highly recommend!

We, eight of us had lunch today and we were all extremely happy with this place. The starters are fresh and tasty and rolls are excellent with the right amount of sauce. The waitress and the owner served us with smile although they were quite busy. The atmosphere feels bright with calm and simple deco. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a decent japanese place in Richmond.

I visited this place with my friends today and ate sushi and various other foods. The sushi fish was very fresh and the maki was also very delicious. The salad that came as a starter was pretty and delicious, and the dishes were all pretty and went well with the food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and nice. The price was also reasonable. The mochi I had for dessert was delicious, and the yuzu tea was moderately sweet and sour. The green tea blooming with flowers was also pretty and fragrant. I will definitely visit again.

Was a memorial experience today I went with my friends for dinner. The food was an extraordinary, the service was wonderful. We had like couple of hot foods including tempura, gyoza and couple of nigiri’s. It was my wonderful dinner and was like authentic Japanese taste. I would recommend people to visit and enjoy the atmosphere of the resturant ❤️❤️
