Mathias Sandwich Shop

I ordered a corn dog I told the lady there that my corn was burnt the hot dog was nasty it tasted old I almost threw up when. I told the woman who works there didn’t offer to give my money back or ask me for anything else so I want be going there again

Family-owned and it shows great place to visit

We have been coming to Mathis for years for our sandwich trays, we have never had a problem the sandwiches are always a hit at any family function. The people are so friendly and nice.

A fun breakfast or lunch place. It kind of replaced the similar place we left in Marietta, GA: Biscuits and More. Can't wait to bring my kids here who loved Biscuits and More.

Coming from NY, the bar is set pretty high for us in terms of burger joints. This is truly the closest thing to home we have discovered here in SC! The atmosphere is 100% on point! The staff are all very sweet and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied, except they mixed up our plates/sides. The food, I would give a 6.5 - 7.0 out of 10, but the prices are on par with the food and given the atmosphere and homey feeling of this charming roadside spot, makes dining here an even greater value! A clean, homey, friendly place with decent food! If more attention to the condiments on the tables had been evident (most ketchups had barely any ketchup in them and the malt vinegar they brought had barely an ounce of vinegar left!), then I would have probably have rated this higher.
