Everything here is excellent.
Everything is so good! Catfish was amazingly moist and tender - same with the fried oysters! The crab stew is something of a creamy chowder and loaded with chunks of blue crab: really delicious. Soft bread and nicely seasoned blackened shrimp on the poboy. Service was great with Trina taking care of me. Samples of the soups were much appreciated!
Checked the reviews before we visited this place with the full parking lot. The food is as good as the reviews say. Full moon plate was great and enough food for two people. Fried catfish was awesome. Fried mushrooms were delicious and the perfect appetizer. The Marsh Fire Shrimp as an appetizer was fantastic. We will stop here when we visit again.
Tried this spot expecting good seafood! Very disappointed in the food here for starters we tried the Brunswick stew it was ok I’ve had better, the buffalo tenders wings and shrimp was just that meat thrown in buffalo sauce nothing exciting! My husband and I both ordered Grouper with shrimp grits and okra. The grits was watery and very salty, the shrimp was fried hard and rubbery and the grouper was fried hard no flavor and not flaky as it should have been as well and rubber the batter was not seasoned and then the piece of grouper was so mall for the price they charged is ridiculous. We sent the fish and shrimp back to be recooked and the new food was worse the the original food they bought us! I would never eat here ever again! The waitress was very nice, attentive and very apologetic but the food YUCK! How do you mess up shrimp?
This is a MUST STOP restaurant! Hand down the best meal I ate while in Georgia. The blackened scallops were darn near life changing. Order the spuds over the fries too! The service was top notch and could not have asked for a better experience. Honestly, I’d be content to only eat here for the rest of my life. Dietary restrictions: We had vegetarians and dairy restrictions with our group. The waiter made it easy and was understanding. Parking: Plenty of spots
