Marmalade Cafe - Calabasas

The waitress was extremely helpful and nice . This was some of the worst food ive ever had for breakfast and it took over an hour . The scrambled eggs were not made to order and had the crust that forms when they sit in a warming tray The potatoes were room temperature and soggy and very clearly scooped from a warming dish. If the food not being made to order wasn't a big enough issue we ordered gluten free avocado toast and they did not put it on gf bread. The coffee was bland and flavorless.

Great steak and Wednesdays are free corkage. The place has done an unfavorable interior redecorating that makes it look more like a coffee shop without any art on the walls. It's probably best to ask for a patio table if you want a little more atmosphere.

Breakfast was wonderful. The Cappuccino delicious.

The food was very good, but the service was slow. It seemed like there were only 2 waiters for the whole place!

The Wild Mushroom Soup is one of the best around. The food is decent, nothing blows me away. The Sunday we went here, restaurant was freezing (maybe heater broke?). Ordered the Chilaquiles (over easy egg was cooked all the way through so no yolk ). Hubby had the Braised Pork Rib Hash & Egg (his egg was cooked perfectly, plenty of yolk). Server was attentive. When busy, can get noisy inside.
