I purchased a large Mike hot honey pizza as a walk-in customer. The staff member that took my order left and made a delivery while no one manned the front for the exception of the cook coming back and forth from the kitchen to assist with other customers. That wasn't the issue, the concern I had is that I waited along with another gentleman for almost 20 minutes thinking my pizza is being cooked until other staff members came in and scanned the heating table and called my name because my pizza had been seating because the cook didn't take the initiative to take care of the customers he saw waiting.
We order delivery from this location on a regular basis, and it's generally fast and good. Today, however, I placed a large carryout order for a party. 10x pizzas. Order was placed online and paid in-full more than two hours prior to the selected pickup time. The order was received, money was charged to my account, but when I showed up to pickup, I find out there is only ONE employee working in the restaurant today, and my order won't be ready for another 30+ minutes. I had no prior notification that my order would be delayed due to staffing shortages. Had I known, I could have selected a different restaurant. Instead, I'm notified when I arrive to pick up. This level of service is far below what I have come to expect from Marco's.
