Great place for lunch! Was passing through the area and stumbled a crossed Mamo Burger Bar. The food was delicious and they had really big portions. They have lots to choose from, including turkey burgers and vegetarian options. I especially loved the black bean burger (Veg-Mex). Vegetarian options: Black bean burgers, salads, grilled cheese and tomato soup Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with different options.
Food itself was ok but the sides are overpriced for the amount you get, Onion rings are a "premium side" costing 3x the normal amount but I only got 7 which was way too little for the higher price which spoiled the meal for me, I don't know why they are premium, onion rings are standard in alot of places and the onion rings weren't even anything fancy or special or amazing, the burger itself was ok but nothing amazing, also they didn't have daiquiri drinks which made no sense as an icy daiquiri would have gone great with hot or spicy foods, Also the front door and bathroom doors could do with a paint job
Don’t answer the phone 50 mins before closing because they don’t want to make your order.
Our server was great but it took quite a while to get our food. (Why I rated them 4 stars). It has a cozy atmosphere and a unique burger menu. Deep friend pickles were excellent, poutine could have been warmer so the cheese could have melted.
The Big Popper Burger was great, Caesar salad and 7up were solid. Will return at some point for sure Parking: Parking free after 6. Cheap before 6pm anyways.
