Mama Sarah’s Kitchen

I recently had the catfish sandwich & it was delicious 😋 Served hot, fresh, and very flavorful.

The History on Wheels hosted its annual Juneteeth celebration at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. We used Mama Sarah's Kitchen for catering and the food did not disappoint! Chef Arron Sain has magical hands!! We had fried chicken, fried catfish, baked salmon, collard greens, baked macaroni & cheese and cornbread. For dessert we has cheesecake, pound cake and banana pudding. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. My mouth waters as I think about the food. So many compliments from our guests about how the food was. Truly outstanding!! Thank you Chef Arron for your amazing service and delicious food! We will be having Mama Sarah's again!

The food was very flavorful and tasteful . The portions were very generous , which was nice . The cashier who took our order was very helpful and friendly , I appreciate that as good customer service . Starting as a new business , this place was very professional overall ! I highly recommend trying this place out !

Absolutely blown away!! I had the catfish, chicken wings, and Mac. The catfish was perfect, texture was amazing my picky 3 year old ate more than me. The wings had an amazing crisp and flack but was sooo juicy killed it. All of it 5 star will be coming back hope he caters.

I had to stop in to see if the 5 stars reviews was all of that. And after my finger licking, stuff belly and lips shinning, I see way the 5 stars was applied to the reviews. Service was quick, which was a plus because I was on my lunch break, very welcoming environment and the owner himself Aaron, greeted me with a friendly smile. So, if you want some of that, good ol Sunday tasting from your grandma's house stop by here. You will not be disappointed. I had the 4 piece fried chicken wings, sweet potatoes, green and cornbread. The price for my meal was very decent for the amount of food received and the type of food. So go grab your meal today.

The catfish po’boy is a HIT! The seasonings paired with the perfectly fried fish on the bread was an amazing experience!!!

I tasted the dessert first☺, it was so good I had to order a second slice of the pound cake. The dinners were portioned just right. I had the House Salad, collard greens, string beans and candied sweet potatoes. Excellent in every way! I will be a regular Mama Sarah's customer!
