Malley's Chocolates

Love Malleys...best chocolate around this area.

I visited the location in Highland Heights. The two older women helping me were polite yet unfriendly. One of them spoke to me with an attitude under the guise of humor. I did not see much I was interested in but thought I would get a gift for a friend. I bought a box of buckeyes and also bought two more from the truffles area. I left and tried the buckeyes and was thoroughly disappointed. Their buckeyes are awful. They taste exactly like peanut butter dipped in chocolate. They have the wrong texture and if you can imagine eating a ball of peanut butter you can imagine how awkward it was holding it as well. If I wanted that, I’d buy a jar of Skippy and melt some chocolate. True buckeyes have a consistency of something between a Reeces cup and fudge. I tried to exchange them but once you buy something you’re stuck. Do yourself a favor and get Sees Candies. Far superior in quality, taste and service.

Delicious chocolate. I missed the larger selection of Easter bunnies and items that I've gotten in previous years. Mostly everything on display were boxed packages of chocolate.

Mally's is always organized & who doesn't love Mally's.
