As soon as I walk in...that delicious smell gets me every time!

Small place with limited inside seating and some outside seating for nice days. Very helpful friendly staff. The most delicious, fresh, and flavorful muffuletta I’ve ever tasted. We shared a whole one with a side of pasta salad. The pasta salad was so unique, it was a different tiny shaped pasta, had olives, feta, tomatoes, and mozzarella pearls with balsamic reduction on top, it was truly incredible. The sandwich was not heavy or greasy. It was filling and light and kept us full a long time. The peach tea they have is so crisp and refreshing with a great peach flavor! I wish I’d asked what brand/flavor it was. Definitely coming back!!! Need more peach tea!

Classic old galveston restaurant to eat , feel different , and like different

Family and I have gone here for 10 years plus, love the Sunday brunch menu. However this past weekend (4/4) our experience was very different. They changed their sausage biscuits & gravy recipe-its horrible, and removed the eggs on the side now those are extra$. Wife sent it back, and asked for something else that was at the same price on the menu. Waiter came back to table, was pretty loud and rude at the table. They would not exchange for menu $ equivalent because their profit margins were different-really wth? and as the staff walked back into the kitchen he yelled "she dont want nothing". Not sure if its new management, owner or what, but classic menu recipes have changed-not for the better, staff is rude. We longer feel the need to go back and would recommend anywhere else.

Best muffaletta in town. Excellent spaghetti and meatballs. Best red sauce (gravy) in town.
