We went here because of the reviews, and are completely disappointed, expensive and tasteless. we ordered the swordfish and it was completely dry. Place is charming but because of the prices and quality of the food felt like a tourist trap.

Between all the restaurants in the area, there’s no better place than MACCIO! After a wonderful and delicious evening last October we returned in spring and were again blown away by the kindness of the staff and the quality and taste of the food! Even though the owner changed, he kept what makes the restaurant so special: lovely Irene in service who is so kind, friendly and helpful and of course the „Maestra de la cucina“, the most gifted chef in Palermo!

Buena la Caponata, la pasta con anchoas y la pasta con pistacho. Camarera muy simpática.
