This place is really starting to shine. Nice food, great service and some really good fun to be had. It's really good to see people are so willing to put the effort in when times are so hard for the hospitality industry, even when it's in a out of the way place.
Sounds like an exaggeration but one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had eating out. In the city you could easily add another £20-£30pp. Generous portions, very nicely cooked and a good selection of extras and desserts. Coming again soon. Kid-friendliness: Bought our two young boys in her. Plenty of space. Welcoming landlady and great food options
Food and service perfect for a Sunday lunch. Fabulous Sunday roast.
Last Thursday myself and 3 friends decided to go in for lunch at 1pm. We were the only people in for food now I know why . We ordered 3 hunters chicken 1 fish and chips one of the hunters chicken was with a jacket.. When it eventually arrived we had never had hunters chicken like it before.. They were all dried up you couldn't see the sauce or bacon on the chicken it was that dried up ..The jacket potato was so hard and the chopped up bit of salad looked like it was a week old ..My friends fish was also dried up..we never complained at the time because one of my friends had had a really bad morning and we didn't want any more upset ..Only good thing was the coffee..All the meals looked like they had been thrown together in the air fryer for ages ..All in all the worst meal we have had at a pub.
Lovely people, lovely atmosphere, but sorry food wasn’t up to scratch for the price , I had burnt frozen fries , gammon with brown grease , dry garden peas , greasy brown pineapple, but lovely onion rings went home hungry xxx
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Went for Sunday dinner - Great presentation and tasted amazing. Definitely recommend
